The Right Choice For The Student

Frankly, we went to Hollis + Miller because we didn't want to reinvent the wheel and we didn't want to educate somebody about schools. They knew how to ask the right questions, and the right questions to ask; and that was very valuable.

Hollis + Miller’s overall expertise and knowledge struck me as the kind of people who get the world today and have their finger on the pulse of all things education. They have a good rapport that no other team brought us. I’ve felt that every person who comes to the building I can have a conversation with. They’re creative people with great vision, lots of energy and just good folks.

For us, budget is a big issue. Hollis + Miller does a good job of breaking the budget down into little chunks so we could decide what alternatives we wanted to accept and what we could afford. Their team works well with committees and groups, and helps with all different areas of the project. They do a very good job relating to our community and building consensus within our groups. They think outside the box and are extremely patient with us. They presented their ideas and worked with us, and now it’s going to be the most awesome thing.

They felt listened to, engaged, and integrated into the design process for our new school. Hollis + Miller helped design a building that was practical for day-to-day education but also inspiring for students and faculty alike.
